Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Estonia has organized an exhibition entitled “Flying Carpets” at Hopneri Maja with the support of Mtü Haridus Akadeemia Karjäär and Azerkhalca. The exhibition presents the main examples of carpets with various motifs, which are an important part of Azerbaijan's culture. "Flying Carpets" collection includes eleven woolen carpets of different sizes, in both modern and classical styles, belonging to different schools of carpet weaving. The collection has previously been exhibited in museums in Strasbourg, Brussels, Berlin, Madrid, Vienna, Riga and 2024 European Capital of Culture Liepaja. Speaking at the exhibition, Azerbaijani Ambassador, Anar Maharramov, said that the exhibition will contribute to the development of relations between the two countries. Opened on October 9, 2025, the exhibition will continue to welcome visitors for two months.
