Our Team
Shahsanam ALIYEVA: She was born in Baku, Azerbaijan. She moved to Estonia in 2003. She graduated from the Azerbaijan State University of Arts and Culture and Tallinn University. By education she is an education specialist and a leisure organizer. Since 2003 she has been working as a teacher in Tallinn Vormsi Kindergarten. Thanks to her work in the kindergarten and cooperation with other teachers, children and parents she has acquired a very good level of Estonian language skills.
In addition to her work as a teacher, she is also involved in journalism and translation. She translates from Estonian into Azerbaijani and vice versa, both orally and in writing. She is also a fluent speaker of Turkish, Russian and English.
She has written several articles on integration and ethnicity, and was the author of the Azerbaijani community programme Odžagi on Radio 4 for 15 years. She has carried out dozens of successful projects in the field of culture and education. She has co-ordinated several international projects. She is friendly, helpful and value honesty in communication and relationships. She is a person with excellent communication skills and positive energy. She loves working with children and young people.
Kadir TANIS: He was born in 1984 in Turkey. In 2006, he received his bachelor's degree from Dicle University, Diyarbakir. After his graduation, he worked as a teacher in the Ministry of National Education for six years at various levels from primary school to high school in Turkey.
He completed his master's and doctoral studies in philosophy at Ankara University Institute of Social Sciences. For four years, he worked as a research assistant at Ankara University. As an assistant professor, he taught both undergraduate and graduate courses at Hitit University for two years. He currently maintains his academic studies as an independent researcher. He has published several academic studies in his field so far. In addition to his academic work, he has been involved in the realization of various educational and cultural projects.
